Draining Your Spa

Under normal usage, you should change the water in your Shoreline Spa™ every three or four months. For your convenience, all Shoreline models are equipped with the innovative Quick Drain™ system, which empties your spa using only a standard garden hose.

For trouble-free draining, follow these simple steps:

1. Turn off the electrical power to your spa.
2. Attach a garden hose to your Quick Drain outlet.
3. The single-fixture Quick Drain can be opened by pushing in on the spring-loaded handle and turning it counter-clockwise until it stops. To close the valve, rotate the handle clockwise until it pops back out.
4. Any remaining water in your spa can be scooped or siphoned out.

When draining your spa, it is recommended that you not drain directly onto the grass or other vegetation as the chemicals from the spa water may damage plant life.
